This project was a massive overhaul remodel. For the siding, the owner chose to go with a board & batten style. We recommended industry leading James Hardi cement board for the bulk of the siding.  We complemented the sleek solid lines of the siding with Cedar Shake details. The brick fireplace chimney on the backside of the house is outfitted with clean modern looking black brick. To tie the front and back together we brought the same brickwork to the front pillar.

The land on the back side of the home slopes away from the main level.  The owner wanted a social space that was at the main level of the home but still able to enjoy the sunshine and massive Oak tree.  We designed and built a half covered, half exposed deck. And then built a wide stair case descending into the back yard. Outfitted in mahogany planking and custom built cabled metal railings, the home owner was really happy with the updated contemporary look.
